Enjoy our LOLO 50% Iberian Cebo de Campo Ham Shoulder, a piece of intense flavor and exceptional juiciness. From Iberian pigs fed with a combination of natural pastures and cereals, this ham shoulder has been cured for more than 28 months to develop its characteristic flavor profile.

Its tender and balanced texture, with marbled fat, guarantees an authentic gastronomic experience. Perfect to enjoy alone or accompanied, each slice highlights the essence of the Iberian tradition.

Breeding and feeding

The result of a cross between a 100% Iberian mother registered in the genealogical book and a Duroc father, our 50% Iberian Cebo de Campo pig offers the best of both worlds. With less exterior fat, when cut, it reveals magnificent marbling thanks to abundant intramuscular fat. Unlike 100% Iberian pigs, these pigs are fed cereals (wheat, barley, almonds, and sunflower seeds) by the farmer throughout the year, but they also enjoy the fields and their acorns to supplement their diet during the Montanera. This process results in a shoulder perfectly balanced between lean and fat.

Iberian bikini sandwich

  • Butter both sides of the bread slices and toast them until golden brown.
  • Place one slice of toasted bread on a plate and cover with the melting cheese.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of ground black pepper.
  • Add a few thin slices of LOLO Iberian cured ham over the cheese.
  • Cover with the other slice of toasted bread.
  • Let it rest for a few seconds off the heat for the cheese to melt, and serve immediately.
